NEW & REFURBISHED COMPUTER WARRANTY POLICY

1. NEW COMPUTER WARRANTY

All new computers and custom-built PC systems supplied by RM Beast Builds X Tech come with:

  • 12-month workmanship warranty covering defects arising from our assembly, installation and build workmanship.

  • Manufacturer warranties on eligible hardware components, subject to the individual manufacturer's terms.

  • Warranty support for qualifying hardware faults and build-related issues.

  • Assistance with diagnosing and resolving covered technical problems.

The warranty period commences from the date of purchase or delivery, as recorded on the customer's invoice.

2. REFURBISHED COMPUTER WARRANTY

All refurbished computers supplied by RM Beast Builds X Tech come with:

  • 6-month refurbished computer warranty covering qualifying hardware faults.

  • Testing and quality checks before the computer is sold.

  • Coverage for hardware components identified as included in the sale.

  • Technical support and troubleshooting for qualifying warranty issues.

All refurbished computers are sold with their condition, specifications and any known faults or cosmetic imperfections disclosed to the customer before purchase.

3. WHAT IS COVERED

Our voluntary warranty covers:

  • Hardware defects under normal operating conditions.

  • Faulty components supplied and installed by RM Beast Builds X Tech.

  • Defects resulting from our computer assembly or installation workmanship.

  • Covered hardware failures occurring within the applicable warranty period.

4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE VOLUNTARY WARRANTY

The following are generally excluded from our voluntary warranty:

  • Physical damage, including drops, cracks and broken ports.

  • Liquid damage, spills or moisture exposure.

  • Damage caused by power surges, electrical faults or improper power supply.

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence or improper handling.

  • Unauthorised modifications, repairs or tampering.

  • Software issues, viruses, malware and operating system corruption.

  • Data loss, corrupted files or accidental deletion.

  • Normal wear and tear and consumable items, unless otherwise specified.

  • Damage resulting from overclocking or operating hardware outside manufacturer specifications.

These exclusions do not remove any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Contact RM Beast Builds X Tech using the details below.

  2. Provide proof of purchase or the original invoice.

  3. Describe the issue and provide photos or videos where applicable.

  4. Arrange for the computer to be inspected and diagnosed.

  5. We will assess the fault and advise the appropriate resolution.

Depending on the assessment and applicable consumer rights, the resolution may include repair, replacement or refund.

6. IMPORTANT CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customers should back up important files and personal data before submitting a computer for service.

  • Remove personal passwords and sensitive information where possible.

  • Keep the original invoice or proof of purchase.

  • Ensure the computer is transported safely when returning it for inspection.

  • Do not attempt unauthorised repairs that may cause further damage.

RM Beast Builds X Tech is not responsible for data loss arising from repair or diagnostic procedures, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

7. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

For major failures with services, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem rectified within a reasonable time.

This voluntary warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit those rights.
